T Bone & Ryan Bingham Win A Golden Globe |

T Bone
Burnett & Ryan Bingham were awarded a Golden Globe in the
category of Best Original Song for “The Weary Kind” from
Crazy Heart. T Bone accepted for both songwriters during the
worldwide television broadcast. Others nominated in the
category included U2, Paul McCartney, Maury Yeston, James
Horner, Simon Franglen and Kuk Harrell. This is both T
Bone’s and Ryan’s first Golden Globe award. |

LA Film Critics Award T Bone & Stephen Bruton |

T Bone
and his longtime friend and collaborator on Crazy Heart,
Stephen Bruton, were awarded Best Music Score honors for
their work on that film by Los Angeles Film Critics
Association at their 35th Annual Awards Ceremony last night.
Stephen died in May, 2009, shortly after completing work on
the film. The LAFCA is comprised of Los Angeles-based,
professional film critics working in the Los Angeles print
and electronic media. |

and Ryan Bingham were awarded the prize for Best Song at the
15th annual Critics’ Choice Awards on Friday night. The
awards are bestowed annually by the Broadcast Film Critics
Association to honor the finest in cinematic achievement.

Willie Nelson Teams With T Bone For Country Music

Country music legend Willie Nelson has teamed with T Bone
for Country Music, an album which marks the first release of
Nelson’s recently inked deal with Rounder Records. Country
Music s due on April 13 and is one of the special releases
Rounder has planned for 2010 as the label marks its 40th
anniversary. |
